Your Second Visit to Our Brookfield Practice

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

After we study your health history and correlate our examination findings, we’ll make recommendations designed to help you regain and keep your health. We call this the Report of Findings. This two-visit approach accomplishes several things:

  • Reduces the length of your first visit
  • Gives us time to correlate our findings
  • Avoids overloading you with too much information

We ask that patients allow for about an hour for this visit and that you bring along your spouse or significant other, so that they too will understand your condition and our approach to treatment. If everything is explained to your satisfaction and makes sense to you, then we will proceed with your first treatment. You will be told what you can expect during the treatment, as well as what you might experience throughout the treatment process. Suggestions will be made for self-treatment that the doctor may recommend to help speed up your recovery.

Brookfield Chiropractic Asks some important questions of interest to Brookfield residents - Chiropractor Brookfield Brookfield Chiropractic Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
