Introducing Brookfield Chiropractic Massage Therapist, Traci Roberts

Traci RobertsGreetings! My name is Traci Roberts and I am a Massage Therapist certified by the NCBTMB and a member of ABMP. I am a 2002 graduate of Therapeutic Bodyworks Institute. I have had the pleasure and good fortune to have worked with Drs. Christiansen and Herrle since October 2002.

Although I tend to utilize Therapeutic Massage much of the time, I also incorporate Trigger Point Release, Swedish/Relaxation, Sports, and some Energy work and Reflexology modalities in my work as well as others. Massage Therapy is not only relaxing and therapeutic, but complements Chiropractic by allowing your muscles and other soft tissues to relax and allow for the best possible outcome of your adjustments. I often use the analogy that massage helps keep your muscles from playing "tug-of-war" with your bones when you are being treated by the Chiropractor. Massage is also just a nice way to treat your self, or to help maintain normal homeostasis.

I grew up on the East and North East sides of Milwaukee and am a graduate of Nicolet High School. After attending UW-Oshkosh for 3 semesters, I attended and graduated from Constance Institute of Cosmetology. In 1988 I moved to Southern California and worked for a Durable Medical Equipment company for 14 years while moving around the country a little. While in California, I met and married my fabulous husband, Matt. While living in Las Vegas, our son (Logan-now 9 and the coolest kid, ever) was born and we decided to move to Wisconsin in order to raise him in an area better suited for children and families. We now live in Hartland and love it. I spend most of my free time involved in my obsession, performing and teaching, and costuming for American Tribal Style Belly Dance with my troupe, Trillium. I also love Renaissance Faires, small outdoor music festivals, reading, and just hanging outdoors in natural settings. I also love to cook, and consider cookies to be a major food group!

I'm looking forward to meeting you!

Brookfield Chiropractic Asks some important questions of interest to Brookfield residents - Chiropractor Brookfield Brookfield Chiropractic Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
